Steve Haglund – President
Steve Haglund has over twenty years of experience in strategy, business development, marketing, operations and practice development in the information technology and oil & gas industries.
Most recently at Perficient, a public, IT services consultancy, he was General Manager of one of the largest national business integration practices. Prior to that, Steve co-founded and served as President of Insolexen – a business integration services company and Michigan Fast50 Award winner –, which was acquired by Perficient. Before that, he was a manager with Anderson Consulting (now Accenture) in the San Francisco office and served in various capacities with webMethods, Baker-Hughes, and FMC.
Steve graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and holds an MBA with Honors from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Eric Haig – VP of Business Development
Eric Haig brings 13 years of oil & gas sales leadership experience to NeoFirma. As Vice President of Business Development, Eric is responsible for leading NeoFirma’s sales team and client outreach initiatives.
Before joining NeoFirma, Eric was a senior account executive for P2 Energy Solutions where he led multiple sales and business development programs for the company’s enterprise oil & gas software. While with Halliburton, Eric served as regional account manager responsible for expanding Landmark software sales. Eric has also served in business development roles for GeoCenter, Global Geophysical Services, and Geomodeling Corp.
Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.
Thomas Meyer – Director of Product Development
Thomas “TJ” Meyer brings almost 20 years of software engineering and management experience to his role, where he is responsible for leading NeoFirma’s cloud-based software and mobile development initiatives. Thomas’s career spans the financial and telecom sectors.
Prior to joining NeoFirma, Thomas was a software delivery manager for TitleMax, a leading automotive title lender, where he led a team to develop the company’s core financial software, which supports national operations at more than 1,000 stores.. As software release manager for TMX Finance, he was responsible for project and applications management for one of the largest consumer specialty finance companies in the United States. Thomas served as applications manager for ACH Processing and was lead developer for Voice4net, a leading developer of customer service telephony solutions. He began his career at Open Systems Group as a software engineer.
Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Northwestern State University.
John Korb – Director of Client Operations
The son of an oil and gas operator, John Korb brings 20 years of production experience and a robust background in IT administration . As Director of Client Operations, John leads the client support team and manages IT infrastructure.
Prior to joining NeoFirma, John served six years in technology administration in the public education sector. During this time, John worked as technology director for a central Texas school district managing IT infrastructure for a district of over 10,000 students across 433 square miles. Prior to his work as technology director, John supported an education specific statewide telecommunications network as part of the Texas Education Telecommunications Network team.
John Holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and a Master’s in Administration from Lamar University.
