Bobby J Baggett, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Baggett has over 25 years of experience in providing professional and executive services to the oil and gas industry. Since 2016, Bob has served as CFO of TriGeo Energy and Atoka Permian, a private equity backed affiliated E & P group. Previously, Bob was EVP and CFO of Primexx Energy where he was named a 2014 CFO of the Year finalist by the Dallas Business Journal. Bob was co-founding Partner and Chairman of KBA Group LLP from 2003 to 2007 (now known as BKD LLP), which grew to be one of the largest CPA firms in North Texas. He also is a Managing Partner of Valeo Capital LLC, a private equity firm specializing in acquisitions and management of professional technology service companies. Bob currently serves on the board of the Domestic Energy Producers Alliance (DEPA) and Texas Tech’s Rawls School of Business Advisory Council. Mr. Baggett is a CPA and a cum-laude graduate of Texas Tech University with a BBA in Accounting.
STEVE HAGLUND, PRESIDENT & CEO
Steve has over twenty years experience in strategy, business development, marketing, operations and practice development in the information technology and oil & gas industries. Most recently at Perficient, a public, IT services consultancy, he was General Manager of one of the largest national business integration practices. Prior to that, Steve co-founded and served as President of Insolexen – a business integration services company and Michigan Fast50 Award winner – which was acquired by Perficient. Previous to that, he was a manager with Anderson Consulting (now Accenture) in the San Francisco office as well served in various capacities with webMethods, Baker-Hughes, and FMC. Steve graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and holds an MBA with Honors from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
J.W. BROWN
Since March 2003, J.W. has served as the General Partner of Premier Capital, Ltd., a private Dallas, Texas based energy focused investment banking firm. Mr. Brown founded the firm in 1991, but from June 2000 until March 2003 held positions with EnCap Investments, L.C. and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey. Prior to 1991, Mr. Brown was actively involved in energy investment banking activities and was in the oil and gas business as well as in the practice of law from 1973 until 1981. Mr. Brown earned a BA degree, a JD, and a Master of Law Degree from SMU.
GIL MARMOL
Gil Marmol has served in leadership positions in the technology services industries for the past 16 years. Most recently, he was member of the executive committee that led the successful turnaround of EDS – setting the stage for its sale to HP where he was responsible for planning and operations improvement. Previously he was CEO of Luminant an Internet professional services firm which he took public in a 1999 IPO, and chaired the operating committee of Perot Systems through a period of three fold growth. Gil was also a director at McKinsey and Co. During an 18 year career he served several high performance organizations in the formulation and execution of growth strategies that resulted in far above peer group performance. His work on organization design has been recognized in a variety of publications including the Wall Street Journal. Gil is on the Board of Directors of Foot Locker and of the Center for a Free Cuba in Washington, DC. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Engineering and Applied Physics from Harvard College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
BOB MOSTELLER
Bob brings over 20 years of business experience, with CFO and COO leadership roles in venture capital, financial services, logistics and commercial construction. As CFO of Talari, Bob oversees all financial and operational needs. Bob came to Talari from Teakwood Capital, where he served as CFO to deliver financial, investment, and operational expertise to the firm and its portfolio companies. Prior to Teakwood, he served as CFO with Silver Creek Ventures and was responsible for the operations, finance, accounting and administrative functions for their investment funds and worked closely with the financial operations groups of their portfolio companies to assist in budgeting, reporting, raising equity and bank related capital. Additionally, he participated in closing dozens of equity financings in both the Texas and Silicon Valley markets. Bob earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Texas A&M University and resides in Dallas, Texas.
MARK SMITH
Mark founded NeoFirma in 2003 after a 15-year career with Intel Corporation in strategic marketing, business management and technical analysis. As business manager with the Intel Enterprise Server Group, Mark designed the Intel Electronic Mail Association interconnection project and led key technology companies including Microsoft, IBM, Novell, AT&T and MCI in working together to transparently interconnect email systems and data communications networks that provide the Email infrastructure in global use today. Mark is also the founder of Seldon Energy, a solar energy producer, and co-founder of iCopyright.com, an intelligent copyright system for digital content. Mark holds degrees in Mathematics and Languages from Southwestern University.
RALPH STOW
For over 25 years Ralph has been an Operating Executive, Advisor, and Investor, with substantial Board of Directors experience. His background crosses a variety of industries and functional areas of expertise, but centers around Business Strategy and Operations in Luxury Consumer Goods, Industrial Manufacturing & Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Business to Business Services, and Technology Deployment. Ralph is the Managing Partner of Stow-Miller Holdings, LP, a Texas-based, captive private investment firm. Ralph is also the President and CEO of Dallas Renovation Group (DRG), a portfolio company headquartered in Plano, Texas with divisions in Dallas, Wichita Falls, and Tyler, Texas. DRG’s divisions include 5-Day Kitchens, ReBath, Castle Doctor and Floor Coverings International. Ralph is a frequent contributor to various construction industry publications, websites, blogs, and journals, in addition to speaking at industry conferences and events. Mr. Stow holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business Administration (’89) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agri-Business from Sam Houston State University (’84). Mr. Stow was honored as the 2003 Plano “Citizen of the Year”
DANNY TILLETT
Danny is controller of BP Capital and in addition serves as a CPA/financial officer of various entities owned by Boone Pickens. BP Capital is a Dallas based company that manages several Energy Hedge Funds. He has been with BP Capital since September 2003. Danny began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1996. Prior to BP Capital he spent 3 years at Lennox Intl as a Corporate Tax Manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Stephen F Austin State University.
Grant Swartzwelder
Mr. Swartzwelder has experience that spans over 30 years in the energy industry as an investment banker, owner/investor, operator and engineer. Founder of PetroGrowth Advisors, a boutique investment bank providing sophisticated investment banking services for middle market companies in the energy and industrial sector. Principals have closed over 100 transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $3.6 Billion. Mr. Swartzwelder holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.
